CREDIT AMOUNT: IDA—US$18.24 million equivalent
TERMS: Grace period = 10 years; Maturity = 40 years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will develop effective and efficient financing and institutional arrangements for improving access to local infrastructure and basic services. It will do this through the implementation of community-driven small-scale infrastructure works and social assistance programs. The project area will be the Jamalpur and Gaibandha districts, which have high rates of poverty both in terms of income and human development.
