Bangladesh: Reaching Out-of-School Project [Additional Financing]

WASHINGTON, May 4, 2010 - The World Bank’s Board of Executive Directors today approved the following project:

 

IDA Credit: US$35 million equivalent

Terms: Maturity = 40 years; Grace = 10 years

Project ID: P120804

 

Project Description: The Reaching Out-of-School Project for Bangladesh aims to reduce the number of out-of-school children through improved access, quality and efficiency in primary education, especially for the disadvantaged children, in support of GoB's national EFA goals. The additional financing will allow for the continuation and scaling up of the ongoing project.
