Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSP) describe a country's macroeconomic, structural, and social policies and programs to promote growth and reduce poverty, as well as related external financing needs. PRSPs are prepared by governments through a participatory process involving civil society and development partners.
The Government of Bangladesh finalized the PRSP on October 2005. Implementation and the way forward was discussed in a government led PRS Implementation Forum in November 2005.
